HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Join us! The Junior League
of McAllen is looking for enthusiastic, motivated ladies
to join the us for
the next Provisional Class!

The Junior League of McAllen welcomes women of all
races, religions and national origins who exemplify a commitment to volunteerism.
Membership is available to women who meet the following two criteria: 25-years-old
or older AND a resident of McAllen or a community adjacent to McAllen.
Informational
meetings open to the public are held each year and serve as an opportunity for potential members to meet current members and to
learn more about what the Junior League of McAllen does for our community.
Membership Information Sessions are held in January and July of each
year at the International Museum of Arts & Science in McAllen.
Provisional members complete a training course during their first year of
service. This course incorporates the following concepts: volunteer
management & leadership, Junior League of McAllen structure & policies,
community awareness & enlightenment. Provisional members also complete a
Provisional
Project during their first year. In the past these projects have benefited organizations such
as the Children's Advocacy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Dress for Success and the Make
a Wish Foundation. CLICK

1st for the Spring Provisional Class and August 1st for the Fall
Provisional Class.
Members wishing to transfer to the Junior League of McAllen from another
league will be contacted in writing
by the Vice President of Membership once
their transfer cards have been received.
